I can’t for the life of me understand firstly how so damn far ahead of everyone else he manages to get and secondly why he slows down at around the 85m mark, once he knew he’d won the race. In a way his actions have cheated the human race of an even better performance which he could have had if he kept his head and kept running faster.
In a way he shirked the responsibility that comes with being the fastest man alive, and unfortunately for him his record will be broken by someone else much sooner because of that.July 17th, 2008 at 1:20 pm
